Pro Flowers will leave them outside, in the snow in -10

I ordered a beautiful bouquet for my Mom's birthday. I recieved an email that it had been delivered. No one told her. They left it outside in the snow. It was -10 outside. The flowers were dead and frozen. If I hadn't called to ask if she got them, who knows when she would have noticed. Thanks Pro Flowers for ruining what should have been a very fun birthday surprise.

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.

Delivery late and order shorted
02 February 2014

My order, as was confirmed on my receipt, was *guaranteed* to arrive by 1:00PM today. It is now 4:30, and it just arrived. Also, when I called to check on it a little after 4pm (because it had *not* arrived), I was told that it had been delivered at 4:00. While I was on the phone with my mom telling them that the florist was supposed to be calling me, the flowers arrived--again, at 4:30.

Three problems with this:

1) The "confirmation" of delivery was mistaken. Something cannot be confirmed as delivered at 4:00 when it doesn't arrive until 4:30.
2) The flowers were supposed to be there by 1pm, something guaranteed by the service charge I paid. "Early charge: 4.99, Weekend charge: 4.99, Next-Day charge, 4.97."
3) I paid for the "deluxe," and based on the picture my family sent (attached), I got the standard.

I called Florist Express back & was told they would refund the upgrade to Deluxe plus the guaranteed early arrival fee. They would not give me a confirmation number for the refund process, though I was told that "Earl," the "supervisor," would email me a confirmation.

Given that my order was not only incorrectly fulfilled but also that we were... (Read the full review)

Flowers late for Christmas
26 December 2013

We ordered a 2 foot Christmas tree through ProFlowers for our 90 year old mother after learning she didn't have a tree in her condo. We paid extra to be certain it would arrive on Christmas Eve. The little tree was NOT delivered before Christmas, as had been promised. This is INEXCUSABLE. We will only use local florists in the future. No more Proflowers.

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.

Don't waste your money. Horrible service and flowers.

Flowers were wilted. The flowers looked like they came from the clearance rack. They arrived after the day promised and I had to put the arrangement together. On the web site one is given the impression that the flowers come already arrange and from a local florist. You are asked to put in your zip code so that the flowers can be shipped from a nearby florist. My flowers were sent from Mesquite, TX to San Antonio, TX.

I ordered and paid for a wreath to be delivered to my mother for today. I put her apartments number and phone number on the order.

UPS left the package outside the high-rise apartment building.

I called to complain and it will take five days for a replacement to be delivered.

Shame on them.

Don't waste your $$$

My friend sent me a bouquet of tulips which arrived brown and wilted. She called to complain and spoke to "LaFonda" who was very nice. She agreed to send me a replacement bouquet (roses this time). I live in an apartment complex and instead of leaving them in the office, they thought it would be a good idea to leave them on my front porch!?!? So when I got home, my chocolates were melted and my flowers looked like crap! Not just because they had been in the heat, they were poor qualtiy to start with! I would NEVER use this company!!

Only use if you want steamed dead flowers
16 June 2013

Sent 2 dozen roses to my mother for her birthday. She received the roses at 4:30 in the afternoon after they had been on a UPS truck in the Arizona heat the entire day. Needless to say, because they were packed to stay moist, they were steamed to death. When I called, they did refund my money, however had no way to redeliver any flowers in a morning time range. You would think a flower business would have a way to ensure their flowers arrive in good condition. Use a local florist. Proflowers is a waste of your money.

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.

Call a local florist, not Proflowers

Received 1 dozen multi-colored roses as a gift yesterday. Included was a bright pink 9" tall glass vase, with about a 4" diameter opening. The roses were packed nicely. Sadly they were too short for the vase, especially after I trimmed 1" off the bottoms. No filler was included, so the roses looked like a few random flowers in an oversized vase. Added the food packet, trimmed each stem, removed extra leaves, and outer "guard petals" as recommended. 24 hours later 6 roses have black edges, and the 3 cream and white roses are spotted brown. Had received 2 dozen roses from a local florist on Mother's Day..they still look better than the ones I received from Proflowers yesterday. So, dying flowers and a worthless vase. Money down the drain.

I would never recommend ProFlowers

I placed an order online on 5/9/2013. The online ads stated that the flowers had free shipping. However, when I check out and was given a confirmation number my bill was $44.37. I called the 1800 number and I was informed that my order was not free and they could not give me free shopping. I informed the person on the phone that my account was low and I different know ProFlowers was going to charge me $12.99 for shopping and $4.99. I was informed that there was nothing they could do for me. They could not give me my money back or give me free shopping on the item.

This was my first time using ProFlowers and I thought they would be a good place to buy flowers for someone I love. However, this was a bad experience and I would never recommend telling anyone else to use Pro Flowers.

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.

THE WORST---BAIT AND SWITCH SHIPPING AND HANDLING
04 May 2013
Reviewer: Robin McStay from California

145 of 346 people found this review helpful

Making Mothers Day order for two grandmas. I made my selection based on the ones that had free standard shipping for Mother's Day.

I go through the extended process of setting up account, entering shipping info, and prepped cards...and when I get to the very end, guess what? They added $60 shipping!!!!

So I call and ask for help...on the phone forever with woman who wanted to sell me cheaper flowers...and we have to start over entering EVERYTHING!!!

I asked her to please just give me a free ship promo code. She would not. I told her I would be posting this review, and took my business elsewhere. I yelped the best local florists and placed my orders. It was faster, and each florist treated me like my business was appreciated. I got flowers, candy and delivery for less than the price of flowers alone at ProFlowers.

Skip ProFlowers and call a local florist.

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.
