Flower quality is now terrible with poor customer service!

I have been a customer since the firm was founded because i lived and worked close to pro flowers in la jolla at the time, and was very active in the community. i also knew people who worked at the company. customer service, price and quality were super...then something happened.....

my recent experiences with your company have been horrible to say the least. i have called customer service, and always was connected with someone over seas who could do nothing to help me. i have asked for someone in your executive office to call me back, and i never have gotten the courtesy of a return call. i even called your 858 number, and could never get through to anyone to help me.

the quality of your flowers has become terrible. my recent experience involved sending three special gifts to a very close friend...all were bad! one was replaced and was worse than the original flowers.

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.

Bait & Switch + No Supervisor Calls Me = Run for the Hills

Shame on ProFlowers...Ordered LONG stem roses, received regular length ...I checked their stem length measurement chart along with other companies and I did NOT receive LONG Stem roses...called company who apologized and sent a replacement...but yes, it was NOT Long Stem Roses the second time....Made me wonder how many of the bouquets I sent out thinking and paying for Long Stem when the receiver only got regular length roses...Even after asking them to double check the problem. (A few times prior with regular bouquets I ordered, they too were not as shown. They were the skimpiest things and I had to have them redone as well - ) With that, customer service keeps offering me 20% my next order but what a gimmick to get you to order more rather than fix the issue. To add injury to insult, I have requested they have a Supervisor call me and all I get are emails saying my message was passed on and I would receive their call within 1-2 day...NOOOOOTTTT!!! It's been weeks now and no one has called me. Goodbye Proflowers...I ordered the roses hoping they had cleaned up their act but got to say...I'm outta here... (Read the full review)

Ordered a 6 month subscription, nothing but disappointment.

I ordered a six month subscription for my mother and mother-in-law for Christmas. I thought this would be a nice on going gift. But it is a disaster that keeps on giving.

The flowers that came in December were very sad. My Mother-in-Law complained to me but I wrote it off as a MIL thing. Then I saw the flowers my mom received and I was very disappointed. The bouquet was skimpy and the flowers were already dying the third day.

The flowers that came in January were again very sad. The tulips were broken and wilted. They were not packed with a "aqua pack"; the stems were just tied with a rubber band and the flowers had no water for over twenty four hours. I did call ProFlowers this time, I could not even understand the agent- his accent was so bad. He said that he would send out more flowers. I called on a Thursday, and they were scheduled for a Friday delivery. They did not arrive until Tuesday. Again just tied with a rubber band and no "aqua pack" or even a wet paper towel. ... Horrible flower service - highly advise against ever using.

I placed an order for funeral flowers. The order and date were confirmed, and five hours later I received an email telling me that the flowers could not be delivered on that date, but that they would be delivered the following day. Unfortunately, that doesn't work because it is a scheduled funeral. The customer service representative had trouble understanding why this was an issue, and placed blame on the local florists that rejected the order. Wouldn't it be Proflowers.com's responsibility to then find a florist that could accommodate the order? Slightly adjusting the colors/types of flowers, etc. Otherwise, don't offer arrangements and dates that cannot be fulfilled. They simply thought it was acceptable to just say that the flowers would be delivered the day after the funeral - to the funeral home. I had to spend 60 minutes on the phone telling the representative that he needs to guarantee flowers will be delivered on the day of the funeral. He "checked with his resources" several times, and finally was able to tell me that the flowers will be delivered on the order date, and that I would receive an email the day of once the flowers were delivered. Delivered wrong day never agian!

Ordered flowers for my sister on her birthday jan 29th they came December 30th my deceased moms birthday!!!! I called twice approx 45min and recieved no refund for there mistake and they would not deliver at proper date no charge. would never use again

Ordered flowers on Thursday for a funeral, to be delivered on Monday, no later than 11:00 a,m, I didn't receive an e-mail order confirmation, so called to let them know. My e-mail address had been entered incorrectly. That happens, not a big deal. Received the confirmation. One of the names on the card was incorrect. and I did not see any instructions on the delivery time. So called again, corrected the misspelled name, and again requested delivery by 11:00 today. I was told I would receive an e-mail with delivery confirmation, again, not received. So called yet again, got the unhelpful call center, asked for a supervisor. When I spoke with the supervisor, she advised me that the flowers were delivered on Saturday, because the florist "could not deliver them in time on Monday." When I told her this was unacceptable, she said " well, would you rather they arrived late"? I have NO IDEA if the family received them, I was not advised that they would be delivered on Saturday, and the attitude of the supervisor was frankly unprofessional. Ruined my delivery!

I ordered the 2 day Mother's Day surprise: Roses and then chocolate strawberries for my Mother-in-law. The first part of the order was supposed to be shipped on the day you assign and the very next day the strawberries would be shipped. The Flowers arrived on time on Thursday, but the strawberries will not arrive until TUESDAY! Needless to say that for me this just ruined my gift to my Mother-in-law. The only thing that Pro-Flowers offered was to refund my shitty $9.99 for shipping! Very disapppointed with the service! I will not count on Pro-Flowers for any special gifts ever again!

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.

Despicable Crooks and Cheats! No Friend of the Community!

You can read hundreds of stories about this despicable ripoff company called Proflowers. They should be sued and put out of business for false advertising and their deception and despicable lies! $29 flowers will cost more than double, the flowers will be wilted and poor quality, and to top it off, your recipient will have to put the thing together, all the while thinking how cheap this all looks and what a waste of money for this junk! It will NOT impress your loved one. Believe me, I've done it time and again, and didn't learn the first time until my Mother asked me NOT to get her these flowers again. How embarrasing!! Please, go to the grocery store or anywhere else that assembles the flowers and you can see them before buying. The only thing Proflowers is a pro at is deception! They are despicable, worthless people! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.

Hi, want to un-impress your sweetheart on Valentines Day use ProFlowers. They will offer you a wide variety of great looking options at a great looking price, However, Those great prices come with a Huge!!! delivery fee. I'm not kidding folks, I bought a $29.00 set of flowers in a vase and added a little I love you pick for a few bucks more, and after all was said and done I HAD TO PAY $75.00!! for those so called $29.00 flowers, and if that isn't enough to wana make you go out and buy some from them right now then wait there's more! Upon delivering the flowers In A closed BOX!! to my valentine. My valentine opened it to find the flowers were completely limp and SHE HAD TO PUT TOGETHER THE ARRANGEMENT I PAID FOR HERSELF! O.K... If I wanted a wilted flower kit for my valentine to put together herself like its arts and crafts day in elementary school. I could have gone to W-Mart picked up some poor flowers that would have been no worse than what my valentine received from ProFlowers, a vase, a little I love you sign, a big box of chocolates handed...
