Flower.com is an online flower and gift delivery service that aims to ‘help you find the perfect gift, every time!’ With a wide range of bouquets and gifts to choose from, all at great-value prices, Flower.com caters to those customers who are looking to send a beautiful and personal gift that’s also unique and unlike anything that can be found at the big online florists such as FTD or Teleflora. With a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee as standard on all bouquets too, Flower.com is a great choice for floral gifts to suit every budget, taste and occasion.
Choosing a bouquet with Flower.com is straightforward, especially as the site has provided a number of additional tools to help make the process as simple as possible. Customers can shop by occasion or style, or look at bouquets in any one of three price brackets (less then $50, $50-$100 or $100+). All bouquets are available in three different sizes (‘as shown’, ‘deluxe’ and ‘premium’) and can be upgraded by adding additional blooms, vases or add-on gifts. As well as this, customers can also check out a great flower guide that not only gives helpful advice as to how best to care for a Flower.com bouquet, but also what particular flowers mean – making it even easier to choose the perfect bouquet.
Although we generally liked what was on offer at Flower.com, we did encounter a few problems when trying to choose a bouquet and complete the order. Firstly, we were disappointed that the site doesn’t offer the opportunity to filter bouquets by price (i.e. display available bouquets in a particular section by price), but instead requires customers to search through all bouquets and not merely the ones that fall within a particular budget. Secondly, although we were impressed with the live-chat feature (that helps users solve common problems), we did find the service a little unreliable and was prone to crashing on several occasions during our research for this review. Finally, the delivery charges on bouquets at Flower.com vary considerably (as opposed to other sites in this category that charge a flat fee for all bouquets, regardless of their size or cost), meaning customers won’t always be sure how much the delivery charge will be on any particular arrangements.
Despite these minor issues, we were still generally impressed by the variety and quality offered by Flower.com. Although the service itself is considerably smaller than others in this category, such as FTD or Teleflora for example, customers still have access to a range of great promotions and special offers, meaning they can choose the perfect bouquet for their loved one without paying over the odds. If this sounds like a good deal to you, check Flower.com out today!
