Don't advertise same day delivery if you can't "Deliver"

It was my mom's birthday and I decided that I wanted to send her flowers instead of doing my normal phone call. I got online that morning about 10:15 am and ordered a fun bouquet for same day delivery. I paid extra for same day delivery and paid even more for 4 hr expedited shipping-which I was fine with since I made the decision to send flowers that morning. I checked the box at checkout that I would like to know when delivery was made, so I gave them my email and my phone number.

I received a call at 3:20 pm with a message that said something along the lines of "our shop in your vicinity called us and told us that they aren't going to be able to make delivery today, please give us a call back so we can send your arrangement tomorrow with a apology note..." An apology note? Really?? The website said guaranteed same day delivery if order placed before 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I called them back and they apologized for my "inconvenience" and again offered to send the arrangement tomorrow with an "apology note" and 15% off my NEXT order... Does anyone... Never delivered the flowers

All I wanted to do was send a very simple arrangment, local florist's choice. There was no holiday going on, no Valentine's day, nothing. I ordered a $19.99 arrangement, to which they added a whopping $14.99 service fee to "insure everything goes perfect with my order". I placed the order around noon.

At around 4:00 pm I received an e-mail saying they couldn't find a local florist that could deliver the flowers. They asked if I'd agree to have them delivered the next day, which I agreed to. The next morning I e-mailed them for some kind of confirmation that the flowers would be delivered that day. They replied with confirmation that the order had been placed with a local florist and was scheduled to be delivered that day.

That evening, again around 4:00pm I get an e-mail worded exactly the same as the one they sent the day before, saying again the flowers would not be delivered because they couldn't find a local florist...in Dallas Tx....to deliver the order. Incompetence at the highest level for the most simple order they advertise. Do NOT do business with this company guys.

In summary, I would not recommend From You Flowers to a friend.

Very disappointed

I was bedridden and my wife had been doing everything around the holidays. A few family members were sick and she was too, but she still tirelessly took every one to the hospital as neede. I wamted to thank her and arranged for our son to come and cook her dinner while I ordered flowers from these people. They emailed and called me to say they didn't have a way to deliver on the day I wanted and that it would have to be a day early. I asked them to have the driver leave the flowers at the door and just call me when it was there. The flowers never showed up and I never got a phone call. I called customer service to get a refund, as I obviously had to order from someplace else (plus it would now be more expensive for same day delivery). The rep said they couldn't do anything til the next morning, when they would call the florist to see what happened. I explained none of that would do me any good and asked for a manager. Purchased baby arrangement - Flowers,chocolates,teddy bear,balloons. $146.00
picture of arrangement on their website contained 23 flowers that I was able to count on front. Arrangement I received contained 14 total flowers. ( I ordered deluxe version ) and got screwed. Chocolates ordered I received 6 oz of peanut clusters allergic to nuts. Why were they not listed as peanut clusters. Contacted fromyouflowers.com they first offered $20.00 off next purchase, told them to keep it. Logged a complaint with paypal they offered me $26.00 refund I told them to keep it. No further communication. I am now posting on every website I can find to never use this company. I have pictures available of what I purchased and what was delivered.

I ordered flowers for a funeral to be delivered to the church. I ordered a banner to read "Beloved Aunt" and also a card with our condolences. When we got to funeral, we couldn't find our flowers with the banner. When we discovered the flowers, we couldn't believe our eyes. The banner looked like it was sent from a five-year old. The ribbon was tacky and the whole message from our card was handwritten on this piece of ribbon with a glitter pen. It was barely legible, and there were misspellings throughout. We took the banner off and called later that day. We were assured that a professional banner and sympathy card would be on the flowers before the service the next day. That never happened. Therefore, our family members never knew we sent the flowers since there was no card on them. The company refused to refund the money, and offered me a 15% discount. They also offered to call the family members and explain the situation, but I thought that would be tacky since they were in mourning and had more important things to worry about.... Although the recipient told me the flowers were nice, delivery was a disaster. I paid for before-noon delivery and the flowers were delivered at 7 that evening. When I complained, the company refunded to me the amount I paid for morning delivery--in other words, the money I paid for something I didn't get anyway. When I still expressed dissatisfaction--telling them I never would have sent birthday flowers to someone if they weren't going to be delivered until the end of the day--they just sent a $10 coupon. I felt as if all or at least some of the cost of flowers should have been refunded, since again, I wouldn't have bought them at all if they weren't going to arrive until night.

In summary, I would not recommend From You Flowers to a friend.

Flower delivery that can't deliver

I placed my order on May 3rd for Mother's Day. I chose Friday the 10th for delivery. I thought it strange I hadn't received a thank you phone call by late in the afternoon. When I called to ask when they were going to be delivered the customer service rep said, "If you wouldn't have called we would have never noticed that your order was accidentally cancelled, and unfortunately we can't deliver anything until Monday." They then offered me $10 off my next order. I was so mad I was shaking. I asked them how a company that's only function is to deliver flowers can't manage to deliver flowers. I then asked to speak to a manager for a refund and was told in 3 days I would receive my refund. I asked why then it only took 3 seconds for them to take my money, cancel my order, then not inform or refund me. She again offered me $10 off. I yelled until my throat hurt and received not only a refund but also the flowers to be sent on Monday for free. Sounds great, but wait....On Monday late... (Read the full review)

Disaster from A to Z

We are traveling out of the country and therefore used From You Flowers on line to order a delivery of a Bonsai to my mother-in-law for her birthday. We called well before their cut of line for same day delivery, still i had them check with the local florist that they could deliver. Not only did they not deliver on the day scheduled, but they didn't even deliver the following day until 7pm at night. When they delivered the Bonsai we ordered, it came without a name so the recipient googled it so she could thank us. When she did she found the same bonsai for sale at $57 we paid $113 for the From You Flower company! I called to complain and they offered to give me 20% off, which was the promotion they were offering at that time anyway. When I invoked the "Satisfaction Guarantee" they said they couldn't deliver another bonsai despite their online promise for satisfaction guaranteed! the best they could do is to pick up the Bonsai they delivered and refund me my money!!! Unprofessional service all around! I wish I had known about this web site before. They have a terrible track record.

Placed an order in the morning to ensure same day delivery and paid the extra fee for expedited delivery. By the guaranteed time flowers had not arrived. Not only were they late, they were not even delivered until the next day. Basically paid extra to have flowers delivered late- this is what they mean by expedited delivery. Did not get that fee back, or an offer for upgrade, free balloon, etc.- anything to keep good business and make up for that mistake on their behalf. Was told quote, "these things happen".

In summary, I would not recommend From You Flowers to a friend.

Ordered flowers for my wife on 2-11 for Valentine's Day delivery. They never showed and despite the '100% Satisfaction Guarantee' on their website which says I can get a refund or replacement at my choice, they are refusing a refund. They tried to tell me they need to contact the florist first but why should this matter? I am not satisfied so they need to honor their guarantee. Bottom line - go somewhere else. Compared to this fly-by-night organization, anyone else is a bargain at twice the price.

After seeing the editors review on this site, I would also be sceptical of anything but customer reviews on no1review.com.

In summary, I would not recommend From You Flowers to a friend.
