Flowers were for a funeral out-of-state, and specific colors were requested for the family's floral arrangements (specifically pink, with yellow and blue.) I searched for 2 hours online to find a pink, yellow,and blue arrangement. I included a note stating, "PLEASE no substitutions w/o calling me 1st for my approval ... color is very important." I received no call - yet flowers came in different colors. Also, I upgraded to the premium version, and instead of more flowers, I got a bunch of leaves, (and there were no leaves in the original photo online). When I notified JustFlowers.com, I was offered a $5 discount. I said - not enough. Over the next few days, I had a dozen phone calls with them -They just kept repeating that the arrangement was "filled to value", and there was nothing more they could/would do. Never would they acknowledge that I requested a phone call if substitutions were to be made. For example, they replaced the light pink flowers with dark burgundy ones. Had the pink daisies not been available, I would have understood, and accepted pink carnations, or pink ANYTHING over a dark burgundy flower. I just needed a phone call. It's the principal of the thing - and simply not fair that I should pay full-price for something that looked nothing like what I ordered. I understand substitutions will often times be necessary, but THIS IS WHY I asked for a phone call to discuss my options with the specific florist filling my order. My including that note should be clear enough to say that my contractual agreement with this order is limited to my approval before changing without asking. I had specific needs to fill. Customer service did nothing. I said, "Look, I'm not asking for a full refund. I'll accept 50% off. That's what the other sites offer." They then offered me $10 off. I personally believe I deserved more. I will never order from the website again.
In summary, I would not recommend Just Flowers to a friend.
