My husband purchased and had delivered to his mother the Contemporary Cactus Bowl for Mother's Day. The purchase was supposed to include care instructions. I called the company asking them to email the instructions. The call representative could not communicate clearly in english. For instance, I had to repeat the email address numerous times. Eventually, I provided it one letter at a time, i.e., b as in bob, r as in rabbit, etc. I assume this is another company outsourcing their call centers. The real frustration came because she kept drilling for more personal information without answering any questions. I provided name, date of delivery, name of recipient, order number, item number, telephone number, email address before she began asking for credit card information. I asked for a supervisor at that time. She put me on hold only to come back on and begin with the same questions as if she and I hadn't just discussed the issue. Once I got the supervisor on the telephone, he did not concern himself with why I requested to speak with him, or address my concerns when I volunteered them. Instead, he began asking the same questions. I asked him if they had even bothered to pull up the order, he said he had but then contradicted himself saying they needed additional information before they could pull it up. I assumed, and told the supervisor, that I believed they were collecting any information I would give them for resale purposes. He did not deny the statement. I was on the telephone for 27 minutes before I hung up without the information I called for, information that was supposed to be included with the purchase. I will not use them again.

Regarding my star rating, the overall experience was negative. The website advertises plenty of selection but when you chose an option, you are told it is not available in your area. Although the delivery was made in a timely fashion, the care instructions were missing, thus it was a partial delivery. Hopefully the plant will survive the directions I pulled off the internet for cactus/succulent care. Flower and plant delivery is expensive, this company is no exception. The best alternative, in my new opinion, is to use your local florist and call them directly.

In summary, I would not recommend ProFlowers to a friend.
