Up until January 2012 I thought that overall Flora2000 provided a fair service with some nice arrangements, if a little on the expensive side. I know the true cost of flowers in Thailand and they are very inexpensive. A bouquet of roses will typically cost very little in Bangkok.

However, they have previously provided a decent enough service and any flowers that I have sent to Thailand have arrived on time and have looked nice.

In January 2012 I have ordered two deliveries through them. The first one, on a Saturday, failed to arrive due to a computer or communication error. They offered to deliver it on another day which wasn't acceptable. They had promised and hadn't delivered. I cancelled the order.

The second delivery was for a birthday on a Sunday. It was important that the order was as shown on the website and was delivered on time. It was delivered on time but wasn't what I ordered. The flowers were old and faded, the foliage poor and it looked like it had been thrown together. The accompanying gift was nothing like I ordered. Even the card was written in English by someone who couldn't write English and wasn't legible. Very disappointing.

I sent a photo of the original website photo to Flora2000 and one of the flowers that had arrived...It was obvious they weren't the same thing. Flora 2000 apologised and contacted the local supplier. The local supplier called the intended recipient twice but couldn't understand what was wanted.

At the present time Flora2000 have said that they will give me a full refund which is fair. However, two separate occassions have been ruined. Birthdays only happen once a year!

I have no idea why such a big company should get it so wrong on two consecutive occassions.

There are many other suppliers out there.

In summary, I would not recommend Flora 2000 to a friend.
